This is a compact, fully self contained model which has an enclosed camera, motor driven lens, motor driven filter wheel and is controlled by the integral processor with all functions accessed via a touch screen monitor.
The darkroom houses a UV transilluminator and a white light drop down table. Applications range from fluorescent gels, protein gel imaging and visible light applications such as spot and dot blot imaging.
Control of all functions (image capture, auto exposure and image manipulation) is via the large touch screen. Image rotation further extends the features of this compact system.
Images can be saved to memory stick, internal memory or via a network connection.
The system comes complete with GeneTools analysis software.
The G:BOX F3 gel documentation system is the replacement for the G:BOX EF2. It uses Syngene’s groundbreaking GeneSys automatic control software. Driven from a database containing hundreds of application protocols, functional control of the G:BOX is handled by the GeneSys software. Images are captured automatically and effortlessly.
The G:BOX F3 has a high resolution 3.8m pixel camera which is capable of giving outstanding images with incredible spatial resolution. The system is suitable for a wide range of standard fluorescence applications such as DNA imaging or protein gels.
The G:BOX F3 has a stylish modular design. The system includes a motor driven zoom lens as standard, as well as a motor driven filter wheel. Internal lighting comes from an optional UV transilluminator or a blue light LED model to further extend the applications possible with the G:BOX F3.
The system comes complete with unlimited copies of GeneTools analysis software.
The new generation of G:BOX Chemi gel documentation systems provide the user with an extended range of applications covering fluorescence and chemiluminescence. All these systems now utilise Syngene’s groundbreaking GeneSys automatic control software. Driven from a database containing hundreds of capture protocols, full manual control is available should you wish to use it.
The G:BOX Chemi series features cameras with resolutions from 1.4m pixels up to 8.3m pixels. All have cooling which reduces the small amount of electronically generated noise to produce outstanding images with minimal background interference. Whether using the system for standard fluorescence applications such as DNA, or for chemiluminescence imaging, the G:BOX Chemi will give you high quality results.
The stylish new design with modular construction includes motor-driven lenses, filter wheels with the option of including a range of lighting choices for both Epi and transillumination applications.
The system comes complete with unlimited copies of GeneTools analysis software.
The GeneGnome5 is dedicated to chemiluminescence imaging. This system is built for high performance and automation. A very simple set-up process means a single ‘click’ will automatically capture a quality image of any blot using the integral cooled high resolution CCD camera.
Western blot imaging has never been so easy than with the GeneGnome5. The system automatically selects the right imaging conditions for any blot irrespective of the chemiluminescent reagents being used. All chemiluminescence applications can easily be handled by the GeneGnome5 and can produce superb images even from the faintest of signals.
The compact instrument sits on any laboratory bench taking up very little space. The integral processor means that no external computer is required for capture or analysis.
The system comes complete with unlimited copies of GeneTools analysis software.

Why buy the PXi?
New England BioGroup knows and understands gel documentation systems. We can work with you to help you select the system that best fits your needs and budget. When you are ready, a simple phone call or e-mail is all that is needed to "get the ball rolling". In the meantime, here are some of the unique features of the PXi:
Performance
The PXi system offers superior sensitivity that is capable of imaging a wide range of applications. Image quality is superb whether you are working with chemiluminescent blots, fluorescent blots and gels, IR gels and 2D gels. With GeneSys control software no other system on the market offers this level of control. If you are looking for high quality and high performance then PXi is your number 1 choice.
High specification
At the heart of PXi is a new generation camera which has 6.3m pixels. These pixels are super sized at 9um x 9um, giving the camera outstanding sensitivity. The camera is cooled to enable longer exposures to be used which can be a necessity for chemiluminescence and for some fluorescence applications. The superior sensitivity ensures that even faint blots or gels can be imaged with the PXi.
Modular
PXi can use a number of different lighting options including plug and play LED modules for Red, Green, Blue and IR light. These novel lighting systems provides the user with the ability to perform coloured fluorescent, multiplex and colorimetric imaging. The new UltraSlim blue LED transilluminator provides you with the ideal solution for imaging ‘safe dyes’.
