Precise chemiluminescence imaging

With a G:BOX you can use the Syngene ChemiFast western blotting kit as well as others such as ECL or CDP Star to accurately detect your protein expression.

Rapid DNA, RNA and protein gel imaging

For fluorescence imaging of DNA/RNA gels, you can use a G:BOX to visualize all commercially available DNA/RNA and protein gel stains.

Easy multiplex western blot imaging

You can fit specific Syngene band pass filters and our exclusive LED lighting modules into a G:BOX. When the LED lighting module is plugged in, the GeneSys software automatically selects the optimum combination of lighting and filters available, making imaging all commercial fluorescent western stains a simple task.

Accurate automated analysis

To automate the imaging of chemiluminescent blots, fluorescent gels and coloured western blots you have to capture one or multiple images of the blot or gel, a task which is easy with Syngene’s GeneSys software. You can analyse the images with Syngene’s GeneTools software which separates bands or spots and analyses them to automatically provide precise results in seconds.

The new GeneGnomeXRQ  is dedicated to chemiluminescence imaging. This system is built for high performance and automation and now GeneGnome-for-chemi-imagingfeatures a next generation high quantum efficiency Syngene CCD camera for even greater sensitivity. Sensitive cooled camera

The high quantum efficiency cooled CCD camera is very sensitive to low level light emissions from a blot. The peltier cooled camera has exceptional ‘signal to noise’ performance resulting in virtually undetectable background noise. The short ‘camera to sample’ distance further enhances the ability to work with chemiluminescence samples and reagents. When compared to film, the GeneGnome XRQ has more than double the dynamic range. This allows for extremely accurate quantification.

Small footprint

The GeneGnome XRQ has a very small footprint and takes up minimal bench space. The automatic slide-out drawer allows easy sample handling. The fixed aperture and focus of the lens results in a very simple set-up procedure making image capture as simple as a click of a mouse button.

InGenius3 is the perfect choice for low budget gel documentation and analysis fluorescence applications. It features a compact darkroom which has a sliding front door and an internal LED white light.

InGenius3 has a 3m pixel camera and can produce images with 16 bit image depth. A manual zoom lens and manual filter drawer (includes a UV filter) completes the package.

There are two options of transilluminator – both models can slide out of the darkroom to aid cutting and viewing. One option is the slimline 302nm transilluminator for UV applications. This can be used with an optional converter for white light applications. InGenius3 can also be used with the Ultra-Slim LED blue light transilluminator.

Syngene PXi compact multifunctional gel documentation (gel doc) imaging system

The Syngene PXi and PXi Touch are new high resolution, multi-application image analysis systems. The new design is compact, easy to use and offers full automation in the capture of chemiluminescent and fluorescent blots, visible gels and blots and even 2D gels.

PXi/PXi Touch are available in three versions with a 4, 6 or 8 million pixel camera and suitable lens. The high performance cameras result in the system having exceptional sensitivity. The T:Genius is an integrated system for DNA and protein analysis, featuring an integrated tablet PC running the highly acclaimed GeneSys automated control system for image capture and editing.

A new generation CCD camera enables you to select an image output of 12.9m pixels. T:Genius uses an f1.0 motor driven zoom lens to enable perfect imaging of any gel or blot. The maximum viewing area is 24 x 20cm which is very large for such a small foot print unit.

New England BioGroup, LLC is  proud to offer the UltraBright TRIPLE WAVELENGTH Blue/Green/Red LED transilluminator. The UltraBright-LED has two side-mounted high intensity LED arrays. This produces uniform and bright excitation at 470nm, 530nm, and 630nm, making it suitable for a wide range of dyes.

A specific filter should to be used in over the gel or in front of a camera, researchers can use three wavelengths in the same instrument to perform gel imaging! This makes gel imaging easier.  Optional filter screens are available for blue and green wavelengths.  Red filter screens are currently not available.  If you need a filter for your gels, please consult with a New England BioGroup sales specialist.
