BioDrop TOUCH is a next generation UV/Visible spectrophotometer delivering exceptional measurement  accuracy for life science applications. It offers seamless integration with the BioDrop CUVETTE, providing scientists with class-leading micro-volume measurement technology in addition to standard cuvette based applications in a single instrument.

BioDrop TOUCH is available as either a stand-alone instrument with comprehensive software controlled via a color touchscreen or as a PC only version controlled by the powerful Resolution Life Science software.

Both versions have been designed specifically for use with the revolutionary BioDrop CUVETTE and include a unique, magnetic pipetting station for easy sample loading. Comprehensive life science methods are included with both versions which include drop down pathlength selection for the BioDrop CUVETTE allowing scientists to quickly customise methods for their micro-volume applications.

The stand-alone BioDrop TOUCH offers on-board storage of methods and data plus connection of a USB memory device for export of data and methods. A built-in printer can also be fitted to the instrument for a complete stand alone solution in a small footprint. Resolution PC software is also available as an optional accessory for the stand alone instrument.

BioDrop TOUCH PC is supplied as standard with Resolution Life Science software offering the familiarity of the latest Microsoft Windows® operating systems. Software features include wavelength scanning, quantitation and kinetics as well as dedicated life science methods. For laboratories requiring full 21 CFR part 11 compliance, an optional Resolution CFR module is available.

The BioDrop µLite is the ideal solution for life scientists whom speed AND accuracy in micro (or nano) liter measurements are required, rather than broad measurement range.

The BioDrop µLite has a unique, built-in sampling port dedicated to nano volume measurement using only a drop of precious sample.  It can be used to measure nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), proteins, and cell density.  The port is easy to use:  simply pipette 0.5ul or more of sample in the center and measure!  Cleaning the port is also easy!  Simply wipe with a lint-free tissue and the BioDrop µLite is ready to perform the next measurement.

Stand-alone!  No PC required!  Fast measurements!

The BioDrop µLite is quick and easy to use.  It has a large capacitive color touchscreen with on-board software for data acquisition and analysis.  Pre-programmed methods for DNA, RNA, oligos, and proteins in the software reduce the time from measurements to results.  In additions, data generated using the on-board software can be stored internally or transferred using a USB memory stick.  Alternatively, both the PC-only and standalone instruments can be controlled using a PC and BioDrop Resolution Software.  Users can also choose an optional built-in thermal printer for maximum flexibility.

The BioDrop DUO has two measurement modes: a unique, built-in sampling port dedicated to nano volume measurement using only a drop of precious sample, and a 10 mm cuvette holder for conventional spectroscopy or for use with the BioDrop CUVETTE 125 for extended microvolume capabilities.  It can be used to measure nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), proteins, and cell density.  The microvolume port is easy to use:  simply pipette a nanodrop of 0.5 µl or more of sample in the center and measure!  Cleaning the microvolume port is also easy!  Simply wipe with a lint-free tissue and the BioDrop DUO is ready to perform the next measurement.
