Driven from a database containing hundreds of capture protocols, full manual control is available should you wish to use it.

The G:BOX Chemi series features cameras with resolutions from 1.4m pixels up to 8.3m pixels. All have cooling which reduces the small amount of electronically generated noise to produce outstanding images with minimal background interference. Whether using the system for standard fluorescence applications such as DNA, or for chemiluminescence imaging, the G:BOX Chemi will give you high quality results.

The stylish new design with modular construction includes motor-driven lenses, filter wheels with the option of including a range of lighting choices for both Epi and transillumination applications.

The GeneGnome5 is dedicated to chemiluminescence imaging. This system is built for high performance and automation. A very simple set-up process means a single ‘click’ will automatically capture a quality image of any blot using the integral cooled high resolution CCD camera.

Western blot imaging has never been so easy than with the GeneGnome5. The system automatically selects the right imaging conditions for any blot irrespective of the chemiluminescent reagents being used. All chemiluminescence applications can easily be handled by the GeneGnome5 and can produce superb images even from the faintest of signals.

The compact instrument sits on any laboratory bench taking up very little space. The integral processor means that no external computer is required for capture or analysis.

Syngene PXi compact multifunctional gel documentation (gel doc) imaging system

The Syngene PXi and PXi Touch are new high resolution, multi-application image analysis systems. The new design is compact, easy to use and offers full automation in the capture of chemiluminescent and fluorescent blots, visible gels and blots and even 2D gels.

PXi/PXi Touch are available in three versions with a 4, 6 or 8 million pixel camera and suitable lens. The high performance cameras result in the system having exceptional sensitivity. Chemiluminescence blots and faint fluorescent bands can therefore be easily imaged and captured. The PXi Touch has its own built-in screen and processor whereas the PXi is used with an external PC.

PXi/PXi Touch can be used for a wide range of applications. A number of lighting options can be utilised including IR illumination, Red light, Blue light, Green light and the UltraSlim blue LED transilluminator. An integral 7 position filter wheel can accommodate a wide range of Syngene filters. PXi/PXi Touch are controlled by the acclaimed GeneSys acquisition and capture software. Using its vast database, GeneSys can automatically configure PXi/PXi Touch to capture any type of image.

High specification

At the heart of PXi is a new generation camera which has 6.3m pixels. These pixels are super sized at 9um x 9um, giving the camera outstanding sensitivity. The camera is cooled to enable longer exposures to be used which can be a necessity for chemiluminescence and for some fluorescence applications. The superior sensitivity ensures that even faint blots or gels can be imaged with the PXi.

Modular

PXi can use a number of different lighting options including plug and play LED modules for Red, Green, Blue and IR light.
