High Intensity Blue Light Imaging

This exciting product uses a high intensity LED array which can illuminate a range of dyes  including GelRed, GelGreen, SYBRSafe, EtBr and the new UltraPower DNA safe dye. UltraSlim-LED provides a uniform and bright excitation across gels up to 10 x 12cm.

The unit is compact and slimline and has an array of LEDs which illuminate samples from the side, providing low signal to noise ratio (S/N). A built-in filter/lid provides the optimum viewing conditions and is ideal for band cutting.

All UltraSlim-LED units are powered using a universal voltage, 24V power supply. The overall dimensions are 21.0W x 21.0D x 3.0H cm. UltraSlim-LED can be used in any Syngene darkroom or as a stand-alone unit.

New England BioGroup, LLC is  proud to offer the UltraBright-LED is a new generation of blue light transilluminator. The UltraBright-LED has two side-mounted high intensity LED arrays. This produces uniform and bright excitation at 470nm making it suitable for a wide range of dyes.

The UltraBright-LED is compatible with the following dyes: GelGreen, GelRed, SYBR Green, SYBR Gold, SYBR Safe, UltraSafe Blue and even ethidium bromide stained DNA gels. Gels up to 20 x 16cm can be viewed. The use of special filter material built into the lid of the UltraBright transilluminator greatly enhances the contrast of bands providing the optimum viewing conditions that are ideal for image capture and band cutting.

UltraBright-LED is powered using a universal voltage, 24V power supply. The overall dimensions are 33.0W x 28.0Dx 9.0H cm. The UltraBright-LED can be used in a Syngene G:BOX or as a stand-alone unit.

New England BioGroup, LLC is  proud to offer the UltraBright TRIPLE WAVELENGTH Blue/Green/Red LED transilluminator. The UltraBright-LED has two side-mounted high intensity LED arrays. This produces uniform and bright excitation at 470nm making it suitable for a wide range of dyes.

A specific filter should to be used in over the gel or in front of a camera, researchers can use three wavelengths in the same instrument to perform gel imaging! This makes gel imaging easier.  Optional filter screens are available for blue and green wavelengths.  Red filter screens are currently not available.  If you need a filter for your gels, please consult with a New England BioGroup sales specialist.
